The patented Timbersets building system, using aluminium columns and pre-machined, interlocking horizontal solid pine wall planks (as illustrated below),  can be constructed on either a concrete stump and insulated timber floor or concrete slab floor.

With the stringent quality control and precision machining, only possible under factory conditions, each home is designed to fit together with minimal fuss. The house kitset are so easy to assemble that even someone with little or no building knowledge can build a beautiful, low maintenance home that will last for generations to come.

Kitsets are delivered to site ready to be assembled by the owner builder or tradespeople. Our homes can be supplied in any stage for you to erect yourself, through to fully constructed ready to move into by Timberset’s qualified builders.

The simplicity with which a Timberset home can be erected doesn’t compromise any strength, instead retaining its ability to with-stand earthquake and cyclonic conditions.

All internal walls are coated with a Raincoat product to stop the up-take of moisture during the building process.

The external half plank walls of the homes are treated (to H3) to protect against decay fungi, termites and wood borers.

The interior of our homes are finished with lime tinted polyurethane which is extremely durable and long lasting. The exterior of our homes can be painted with either Quantum Aqua Oil exterior timber finish which has the advantage of minimal preparation required at re-coat time (www.qtf.com.au) or Haymes Solasheild paint a tough and durable exterior paint (www.haymespaint.com.au).
