Modern new range designed for sustainable living

It’s an exciting time here at Timberset as we prepare to exhibit at the 2019 HIA HomeShow (May 2 to May 5), where we’ll launch our new Modern range of homes. They’re sure to captivate, with cutting edge designs that epitomise sustainable living.

Timberset homes have always been naturally good, but this new range further enhance our sustainable building practices and demonstrate that it doesn’t cost the earth to build a modern and contemporary looking home that looks after you and the environment.

We set out to achieve some important objectives when developing this new range:

• Take an innovative approach in creating cutting edge designs that are modern and fresh, promote sustainable living, and ensure occupants live in an energy efficient, comfortable and healthy home
• Improve on the Timberset building system to offer superior insulation options that ensure achievement of high energy ratings (8 star capable) when combined with home designs that optimise the thermal performance of the building envelope
• Leverage the structural rigidity of the Timberset building system to offer a range of homes that can be prefabricated in the factory and transported to site in a near complete state, increasing build efficiency, minimising waste, significantly reducing travel to site, and ensuring tighter quality control
• Carefully select building materials, inclusions and suppliers that reflect our values and commitment to caring for the environment and the health of the occupants of our homes

We’d like to share more about why these objectives are important, how they were achieved, and what exactly you can expect to find included in our new Modern range. So over the coming weeks you’ll get the chance to preview the new designs, including articles that explain sustainable building and detail important aspects of our designs, choice of materials and preferred method of construction. We’ll also share a couple of sneaky pics, ahead of the official launch.
